THEE OUT MODS was formed in the summer of 2006 by three Japanese rockers SANA(Vocals), YOSHIKI(Bass), KENNY(Drums), and produced by Ace (lead singer of Tokyo Smog) from 7 Samurai Records.
SANA's straight and ironic expression of the youth generation is powerfully combined with the band's intense rock n' roll sound. Their sharp, stylish, high energy performances have earned them a committed fan following in Los Angeles, even though most of their songs are performed in Japanese. In April 2007, they toured to support LiN CLOVER, highlighted by a knock-out performance at the famous Slim's live house in San Francisco.
In 2008, they were voted "Best Japanese Punk Band" by readers of Shojo Beat magazine.
