Welcome to the new JapanFiles website!

On Sept. 1, 2011, JapanFiles Digital Music Store changed its online purchase system for digital downloads.

All digital music content is now combined in the same store with artist CDs and merchandise.


USERNAMES
Old usernames are no longer active.
You may sign up for a new username here.


PURCHASE SYSTEM
All purchases must be made by credit card and PayPal.
The old "credits" system has been disabled.


WHAT ABOUT MY OLD CREDITS?
Any user accounts who had a credit balance after Sept. 1, 2011, will be issued a gift certificate redeemable for digital music purchases in the new JapanFiles Store.

DIGITAL CATALOG
Digital music sales are now album-only after Sept. 1.
Some artists / albums may be temporarily unavailable as we shift to new system.
Many best-selling artists will be available in the new store starting Sept. 1.
More artists will be added later as we continue updating our system.


RESET PURCHASES
Previous album purchases can be reset in your download area.
Only albums currently listed in the digital catalog can be reset.
Single tracks purchases cannot be reset.

Q: Why is the JapanFiles Digital Music Store changing?
A: We're responding to customer requests and consolidating our system to allow fans to purchase CDs, digital music, and merchandise from JapanFiles artists in one place. We're also phasing out the "credits" purchase system that's been in place since YesJapan.com started JapanFiles back in 2004.

Q: Will JapanFiles digital downloads still be DRM-Free?
A: Yes.

Q: What if I bought all the tracks of an album as individual tracks?
A: Please send us a request via contact form and we will check your purchase history.

Q: I don't see some of my favorite artists listed in the new digital store. How can I find out when/if they will be listed in the digital catalog?
