JapanFiles has started an affiliate program!
Please read the information below for details.

INVITATION ONLY
Right now, we're testing the system and fixing various details.
So our affiliate program is invitation-only.
Hopefully you'll see some JapanFiles banners on your favorite J-Rock / J-Pop websites soon.
As soon as we finish testing, we'll begin general registration.

If you register as an affiliate during this period, your status will not be approved until after our beta testing has completed.
Thank you for your patience.

APPROVAL
(AFTER BETA)
Staff will review pending affliate requests on a bi-weekly basis.

URL / WEBSITE
When you sign up as an affiliate, you must list your website URL for evaluation.
Criteria:
Must be publicly visible (no private forums/communities/social networking sites).
No links to illegal downloads of copyrighted material.
No nudity / adult material.
Consistent content / updates
Website related to J-Pop or J-Rock

HOW TO CONVERT FROM "CUSTOMER" TO "AFFILIATE"
Go to Profile Details > Account Type > Select "Affiliate"

HOW TO START A NEW AFFILIATE ACCOUNT
You can also register a new account / e-mail address and select "Affiliate" from the drop-down box.

CREDIT FOR SELF-PURCHASES WITH YOUR OWN BANNER
You will receive credit for purchases made via your own banner links.

CREDIT FOR PAST PURCHASES
We cannot give affiliate credit for past purchases, sorry.

JAVASCRIPT
Use of affiliate banners requires Javascript to be functional on your website.

PAYOUTS
3% commision on completed sales.
(Declines / failed transactions may show up temporarily in your account balance until our system clears them.)

Minimum payout is $20.00
Payouts are for JapanFiles store credit only.
Gift Certificates will be issued to all eligible affiliates whose balance reaches the minimum payout amount.
Payout calculations will be completed during the 1st week of every month.

BANNERS AND LINKS
We have a limited selection of site banners to start.
We'll get more creative after we've finished testing.
Customers who click on affiliate banners and links will keep their cookies for 30 days (unless deleted by the user).

Notes: 
JapanFiles staff may reject or cancel affiliate statuses an any time for any reason.
JapanFiles may change the terms, percentages, banner and link content at any time.
Users may cancel their accounts or change from "Affiliate" to "Customer" at any time.
Store credit cannot be redeemed for cash.
