With fans all across Asia, Europe and North America, advantage Lucy got its start in 1995 as "Lucy Van Pelt," influenced by U.S. and U.K. indie music and Swedish pop. Changing their name to "advantage Lucy" in 1998, they signed with major record label Toshiba EMI, where they released hits such as the album Fanfare and the singles "Citrus" and "Good bye". They set up their own independent label called Solaris in 2000, and released their fourth album, Echo Park, in 2005.
